Lifepath 2025

On 20th to the 2nd May, the bi-annual educational event - Lifepath - was held on Elstow green. 
​Organised by Bridgebuilder Trust from Milton Keynes, this event run by them and volunteers from several local churches and from Bunyan Museum. 
Every day, a different group of pupils from schools in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire attend and, this year the total number that attended was 1,136 children.
The event's theme is based on 17th century life, John Bunyan and his book, The Pilgrim's Progress. The children take part in a diverse range of activities; they spend time inside Moot Hall learning about 17th century life and artefacts; outside they take part in games that Bunyan would have played and learning about his life and writing; and in the Abbey church tower, some even got a chance to ring the bell that Bunyan used to ring.
